Message: Possible cause for stock price decline?

Several months ago I remember reading that about 58% of the outstanding shares were owned by institutions and insiders. I checked yesterday and that total is now 46%(10 insiders and 36 institutions). As I posted there is still a 22% short position-- I hope the pigs get slaughtered. So, an 8% decline in institutions and insiders for a stock with about 13 million shares outstanding =roughly a 1 million share reduction. Stay with me here, some institutions cannot hold a stock that is trading under $5 per their by laws. If there has been, daily over time 1 million shares sold on the open market during a period where the company has yet to give the public any real reason to buy, that could explain the downdraft. They did not dump all at once because they thought that disastrous, so they sold daily to comply with the by laws of the institution. Clearly I'm just offering a possibility and also clearly the slow burn has been pretty disastrous for those of us that have continued to hold. Anyone think this could be at least part of the cause?
