According to shortsqueeze.com the number of shorts has recently decreased by 14% from 7.5 million to 6.4 million.  Noticing today many trades but not large volume.  Possibly the shorts are trying to exit slowly so as not to cause the price to increase too rapidly, scum that they are.  We shall see.
