One thing that keeps them awake at night is local attitudes towards Uranium mining. There has been 10 years of litigation at McLean Lake, temporary on hold because the mill, owned by AREVA/Denison, is no longer processing ore. Basically, the operators won the court battles and kept on operating. http://www.wise-uranium.org/umopmcl.html
Another thing that probably keeps them awake is Korean and French attitudes towards nuclear energy, as their Waterbury Lake consortium is partly financed by Koreans, and the Korean investment attracts a lot of others. AREVA (French nuclear company) is a big player in the area and can be expected to play a part in whatever unfolds.
