The financing I am referring is for the Ni property. When VMS closed out their initial financing they stated that they had enough money to explore both Reed and their Ni deposits. Keith would go on about this quite a bit if you asked. He would always throw in the bit "even without the $2 warrants we have enough money for years of exploration". My question is, what changed? Why start a new company and look for more money if what they have on hand is sufficient? Not buying take over rumors as it is way too early for that. They seem to be busy in general, why add on more work if not completely necessary.
VMS stated in their NR that the spin off of the Ni property was for financing. Any other reason a company does an IPO?
Bottom line is VMS has opened the floor to speculation both for the good and ill of the company with a vague NR on splitting of their Ni assets. There was no rush to release this news. Once they had all their ducks in a row they could have released news and all would know. But, then Bamako and I would not be having this nice discussion.
Cheers and VMS long
