I second that thought, almost.
When we had that big uptick, I took the opportunity to sell half my position. This has been the most sideways stock that I have ever owned.
But take heart, I was at the AGM for Wildcat Exploration, and the head geologist, Peter Theyer, was giving an overview on their properties when he started talking about Reed Lake.
He mentioned the VMS deposits being found by Rockcliff and Cream minerals, and then he talked about the deposits that VMS has along with their JV partner in HBM. His words were,
"They are going to be building a mine there before long"
That man knows what he is talking about if there ever was a geologist in Manitoba who did. He was the head geologist for Manitoba for years.
The CEO of Wildcat also happens to be on the board of directors for HBM. I honestly don't think for a second that HBM is not thinking about what they have in their back yard.
These are trying times for all and any junior exploration companies, especially in the base metals sector. Money is tight and many exploration budgets have had to turn conservative just to make it through this year and maybe even the next.
The potential for this company is pretty big in my opinion, I just don't see them moving up any time soon. I am maintaining a core position now and will accumulate more when this stock starts to move again, and I believe that it will some day.
Better days will come again.
