well, VMS management has put together a portfolio of some pretty strong resource plays.. as these stocks increase in value and put together their own stories, these invesments are proving to be pretty smart choices by the management team, lets have a look..
So for starters we'll have a look at RES.
thanx to peakresourceman to poiting it out, as i havent checked on RES in a while. focusing primarliy on rare-earth elements, it looks like its bear lodge project seems to be flag-ship, with gold drilling and REE exploration going on, its currently sitting at 5.25 a share, with VMS holding 150k shares, another 75k shares to be issued in november, and another 75k in may. going to be interestig to see where this goes. RES is i blue sky territory right now, and hasnt released anything to really explain it. 2 weeks ago the company released news saying it had no idea what was going on and had no material changes or news to announce. it has risen more than a dollar since that time. will be fun to watch...
300,000 x 5.25$ = 1,575,000
Second is Prophecy resources, PCY.
As some of you may remember, VMS optioned its Lynn Gabbros project to Pcy back in january, for 750k shares, plus the 300k pivate placement for another million for a grand total of 1.75million shares. Pcy will begin production this september at a coal project in mongolia, ands looks to be moving other coal projects along aswell, its off from the highs it saw a few months ago, down over 50% from its 52week high actually, but has settled around the .50 range. its less advanced, but significantly larger coal project has 1.2 billion metric tons of measured and indicated coal resources. looks like it has strong upside potential.
1,750,000 x .485 = 848,750
thirdly North American Nickel,
as we all know, this is the nickel spinoff company, with VMS having control over 16 million shares. to early to really say anything about the company, but will be fun to see where it goes in the future
16,000,000 x .05 = 800,000
not a bad package to add to the Projects that vms has
