I'm not really in the "peak" oil, gold, aunt fannie's cookies camp. IMO all propaganda to further someone's cause. Don't get me wrong, as I will try to ride the wave and make money from it.

I do believe in "peak" dollars in a person's pocket as we observed when oil reached $140 and driving began to decrease in the US.
