The Company's Eagle Gold Project in Yukon Canada hosts a National Instrument 43-101 compliant Reserve of 2.3 million ounces of gold.
According to the conference call:
Cove now has 527,000 inferred ounces of gold and its internal rate of return based on $900 gold is 45% and it is 75% based on $1100 gold. Those IRR's are extremely high - just imagine what those numbers will be if gold reaches Jim Sinclairs minimum price objective of 1,650 gold.
Cove Infield and Step-out drilling will commence some time in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year.
Eagle Infield and Step-out drilling will commence sometime in June.
VIT will likely spend $10MM on drilling this year - 50% in Nevada/50% in the Yukon.
Possibility that VIT will poke some other holes at other properties like Mill Canyon.
Eagle Feasibility report and drilling results from Santa Fe likely to be reported before the end of February or early March. Hopefully, gold prices will have stabilized or have begun another advancing phase by the time these press releases are made - in this case we would more than likely see VIT's stock respond more favorably to positive news than the negative reaction VIT's stock had to the press release on Cove's PA and a big downdraft in gold prices.
VIT will be filing a "Notice" (Legal Document) with Newmont Mining soon. From the date that NEM receives "Notice" they will have 90 days advise VIT whether or not they will exercise their back-in rights. If they choose not to exercise their back-in rights then VIT will have to pay NEM some cash and agrees to pay them royalties in the future. IMO, NEM will exercise their back-in. Should that occur, I would expect a lot more surface drilling to occur at Cove preceding eventual underground drilling. Bottom line, we should have some news regarding a back-in by NEM by the end of June.
Last year, I believe VIT had something like 29 press releases, and you can expect to see many press releases this year - so there will be no shortage of news on this company for investors to focus on.
