Outside of the aftermath of resouce estimate errors at the Helen Zone, the majority of senior gold producers ,and especially junior gold exploration companies, are significantly underperforming the price of gold. When the stock market starts seeing a lot of RED ink, ivestors/speculators pull in their horns and keep their investent powder dry. Without this investment capital doing the buying, it takes few sellers to force a stock down in price to levels that just are simply not logical - but who ever said that the market should perform up or down according to the fundamantal at hand. IMO, there will come a time that speculators will be crawling all over each other, scrambling to buy the lastest gold exploration company that supposedly is going to make your ritch. VIT has the real goods and it should definately benefit from a sea change from investors being scared of a futher correction in gold/gold stocks to a conclusion that you have to buy now before its price rises. I am convinced that, in the coming months, we will see a gold mania and stocks like VIT will rise to levels that few investors believe possible.
