10:56 AM EDT, 03/23/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Wallbridge Mining Co. Ltd. (WM.TO) said Monday that it intersected high-grade gold mineralization at shallow depths adjacent to the existing mine workings within the Main Gabbro area on its Fenelon gold property in northwestern Quebec. It added this mineralization can be readily accessed from the existing mine workings and could provide material for early stage production.
Drill results include 19.47 g/t of gold over 10.15 meters in hole 19-1035-022, 6.09 g/t of gold over 21.05 meters in hole 19-1035-025, and 17.33 g/t of gold over 9.30 meters in hole 19-0985-013.
On its 2019-2020 drill program, WM said six drill rigs are currently active on the property, with five focusing on exploration drilling from surface and one underground rig focusing on the Main Gabbro zones near the existing mine workings. A total of about 24,000 meters have been drilled so far in 2020.
Wallbridge said it has taken measures to protect its employees and contractors from the COVID-19 pandemic and it will continue to monitor the situation.
