VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 24, 2009) - War Eagle Mining Company Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WAR) announced today the appointment of Anthony Dutton as a director of the Company effective March 20, 2009. Mr. Dutton is currently the president and CEO, and a founding director of IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. whose shares are publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol IB. Mr. Dutton is also a principal at Primary Capital Group and a director of several public and private companies, both in Canada and the United States. Mr. Dutton holds a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom. IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. is a world wide manufacturer and supplier of advanced casting alloys and other intermediate products with a focus on beryllium related alloys as well as non-ferrous alloys for a broad range of industrial applications including nuclear power, oil and gas, defense, electronics and automotive. Also, effective March 20, 2009, the Company received and accepted the resignations of Jeff Lantz as the Company's president, CEO and director and of David Hackman, a current director.
