(TSX:WEW), a leading provider of location-based and fleet telematics services, announces that following a rigorous three-month trial, during which it proved out a return on investment of less than 9 months, its WT5000 LocatorTM and OBDII Gateway in-vehicle devices have been selected by the Canadian subsidiary of a global technology company for its national service fleet. The company interviewed several potential providers, inviting a small number to make presentations, then selecting two to run an extensive pilot. WebTech Wireless was selected from the results of this pilot. Shipment of the devices occurred in June, with deployment scheduled to be completed in the coming weeks.
