VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 22, 2009) - WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX:WEW), a leading provider of vehicle location-based (LBS) and fleet telematics services, announces that it has concluded a settlement arrangement with LunarEye Inc., in the matter of a patent infringement suit filed by LunarEye in the Eastern District of Texas in May 2007.
The terms of the settlement agreement are confidential, but involve a one-time payment, no admission of infringement and a release from any future action by LunarEye against WebTech Wireless on this matter. The Company will record a charge for the settlement in its Q4 2009 results.
