For me, I do feel it is fishing in troubled waters. The gold is in the ground at Lamaque but as we look at it, the Wicked Witch of the West could waft it away, out of our grasp. It is a balance of probabilities with the weight of the probabilities unknown.

Take the loss and switch to an alternative (which can't be a "sure thing")? Or hang on and hope that the big F will do something constructive for the shareholders for a change, and this would be out of self-interest.
