I don't think Wildcat has any plans to merge with anyone. Their game plan is to explore what they have until they can build up their value. Their arrangement with SKP was good for them as it provided cash from a property they didn't have time to do anything with anyways.

We must also remember that Wildcat is strictly an exploration company; they are not planning to develop anything into a production phase. If they find something of significance, they will make a deal with someone else to take it further (and maybe keep a % interest if that is a possibility in the deal).
