I think most tend to agee that it was a westerly flow and I think that is why Cou has donned so much attention from Speculators. We still have not pinpointed the tee-box. It does look like it was a plutonic eruption and judging by the massive veins on the Cougar property you can only speculate at this point in time. I have been doing a lot of reading (ala Traps and AC Howe etc. etc.) and the nose at Horseshow Lake can also be significant because of all the reasons you summized. I am picturing in my mind a rush of fluids down the conduit pressurizing all of the hinges and then flowing downwards where the volcanics meet the main gabbro. With the lake being at the end of the volcanics there could be a pooling of fluids at that end. OMHO. Last trade show in Vancouver Courtney described the geology to me and the way he described it it seemed the lake was significant. At that time I did not know it was on WEL property. Needless to say I own some WEL.
