For anyone else Treasurer and above out there who is having trouble sending emails to another member, Agorocom gave me the answer this morning - they are great.  I had been going into the person's profit and pressing the "Contact" button and nothing was happening.  The problem was that there was one more screen below the one I was seeing with the actual form to send the email in it.
