I cant remember the last time I paid more than 9.99 for a trade. It would have to be a whopper of a trade. That is of course only on my online account. Years ago I had a broker who if I placed a large order he would just collect it for me and transfer it over when it was filled for 1/2 cent per share and no paper costs. Whereas now even on my online account if I put in an order for say 50 thou and only get 2000 shares a day it costs me 9.99 each day. Whereas if I bot it all in the same day would only cost 9.99
