it's pretty plain from the preamble to the CNR that MRS 'required' the release to read as it did. No doubt they would rely on the rider above and deny that and might be technically correct even though they probably effectively said 'we can't make you say this but if you ever want to trade again...' - hence the reported debate over the wording holding up trade resumption

note Ian's reference to an'orientation' release the purpose of which [now that we're trading again] might well be to 'clarify' the 'clarification' [i.e. a rebutal]
