btw...a copy of the letter was also sent to MF with a note of support - the rest of his bosses [i.e. you] might want to let him know that he has some backing IMHO - a reminder who he's working for [although the X seems to think it's them]

he's taken a lot of cr*p the last little while and it has to be discouraging
