I said neither (directly)! No cheats, no liars. Either Banes is making it up (which a credible journalist wouldn't do, so that seems unlikely), or he legitimately heard it from some source. What doesn't pass the "sniff test" is that the source would be reliable... it just doesn't make sense!

I'm certainly not calling Banes a liar... but I do think that he has crap-coloured glasses, prefering to only report the negative, regardless of
the source or the credibility of the source.
