Just a sec, I'll get Roy's market analyzer cryatal ball...
Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug...w-o-o-o-o-o-o, w-o-o-o-o-o-o
There it is - the Winfield locomotive has surfaced - ALL ABOARD!
The old coal-burner could use a painting, she's tired but still runs.
A new addition of a Bronze Baines has been strapped to the moose-catcher. the image chants a child's verse.
" If the train goes off the track, do you want your money back?" As the train pulls from the station the image is jeered by the faithful. His day of reckoning draws near. I digress, however.
A dismal Winfield market had us looking just two days ago at the million share half cent bid posted on level II. Should it have traded there, we could all order up 100 share certificates to paper our communal tree fort shared by other paupered investors.
Up 50% in 2 days it has basically been an uncontested rise to our traditional breakout/breakdown and cry point of 20 cents. This time it's different. It has traded small volumes compared to the mountains we found waiting for us prior to the warrant expiry. This shows the paper taken from the market is in strong, patient, [and shall I add?] intelligent hands.
With the rumour of iminent news it also says that we are closer to an inked package. I spoke with MF and guarantee I do not know the contents of any news release. I suspect that it will be a "connect the dots" type dancing with the COB.
Should any logic be applied to the successive releases it will bear witness to Winfield's unwavering, steady path and continually supported and fleshed up. More negotiations with major players, all verified so that our [TSX opinion] our villanous, storytelling directors can't mislead or fib to the public.
Some day they will get it.
When a dollar sign appears in front of the Winfield quotation in the Vancouver Sun our collective smirk will shame their business editor.
The market says that another step has been taken. The little train that could grinds up the hill.
