(I'm refering to the storage tanks in Ras Lanuf)

NOC and Vitol signed a Memorandum of Understanding

On Monday, 9th June 2008, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the National Oil Corporation and Vitol Group to build a storage tanks in Ras Lanuf to receive and export petroleum products and to be a centre for handling these products, whether domestic or international.

This Memorandum was signed by Dr. Shokri Ghanem, Chairman of NOC and Mr. Ian Taylor, Chairman of the Board of Vitol.

Also in attendance were Mr. Faraj Said, NOC’s Under-Secretary and Mr. Omar El-Ghazal, Oil & Gas Processing General Manager.
