The proposed $30 million Winfield Resources Limited plant and feedlot is currently on hold. Winfield Resources president Michael Foley said new technologies already advancing , along with the the fact the company is buildiing a refiinery in North Africa, led to the decision.

But that does'nt mean the project is off the table and the company may bring it forward again in some form or another. "Geographically High Level is a good place to be because of its position as a supply area to the north. This makes a lot of sense. As for actual timing....right now money is saying build and oil refinery in North Africa. We've arranged the finacing and its come through," said Foley. "It's just a question of securing the new technology and raising the money and right now money's a little tight, too tight to mention in the is part of the world."
