ISLAMABAD, May 20 (KUNA) -- Pakistan will export 30 to 50 thousand skilled manpower to Libya by the end of this year under an agreement signed between the two countries during a recent visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to Libya, it was said on Wednesday.
Pakistani Ambassador to Libya, Jamil Ahmed Khan, speaking at a selected gathering of intellectuals, educationists parliamentarians, industrialists and notables in Southern Karachi port city said that Libya had remained a best friend of Pakistan in the past but snags in therelationship developed during the dictatorial regimes in Pakistan. He said that in coming days Libyas importance will grow as the next President of UN General Assembly will be from Libya and its President Colonel Moammar Qadhafi is also the Chairman of 53-nation African Union and, therefore, Libya could become a best source for Pakistans access to African countries and their markets. He also said that Pakistan has entered into an agreement with Libya in the field of agriculture.
