BOUVIER deFONT
In September 2010 Winfield issued a “Report to Shareholders”.
In that report Winfield has retrospectively identified that the statement which was made referring to the ‘falter in Spring 2010’ of Winfield was quite ambiguous and read as if it was Bouvier DeFont who failed. That was not the case; Bouvier DeFont has been immensely effective and professional in their task on our behalf. They were very successful in mapping out the strategic steps and were responsible for collating the relevant Process Consulting team which assisted Winfield in achieving the required Processing and Operating Licenses for our Refinery project.
For further clarity Management wishes to report that the failure to complete the structured project finance, ‘the faltering’, was solely due to Winfield’s inability to finance the required Feasibility Study confirming the viability of the project. We apologies for any inconveniences or misunderstandings caused by Winfield’s ambiguous statement, this was clearly not intentional.
Winfield proudly retains Bouvier DeFont as our ongoing primary source of Project Finance and Project Management.
On behalf of the Board

President and CEO
