Thanks for taking the time to research this issue and throwing the harsh light of reality on the subject.

I too welcome the new "transplants" from TCC to our little forum. We have always welcomed "escapees" from boards that appear to persecute their membership.

One rather large forum is reknown for attacking posters and spreading comments that "pump and dump" shares for the potential gain (financial or ego) of some posters. We have welcomed many of these refugees over the last several months.

While there is always room for new ideas and for civil disagreement on Agoracom, there is little tolerance for the behavior that drove new folks to this forum in the first place.

As a hub leader, I know that if someone's comments need to be "disciplined" there are accepted procedures to use. Belittling someone's comments in a public manner is never acceptable - for a hub leader or for any other poster.
