Tesla's first Gigafactory could soak up 50,000 tons of battery grade graphite in one gulp.

And according to Musk (Tesla) "Musk, 42, said at the company’s Fremont plant. As carmakers increase demand for batteries “there’s going to need to be lots of gigafactories. Just to supply auto demand you need 200 gigafactories,” he said.
