Hydrothermal Graphite Deposit Ammenable for Commercial Graphene Applications
"While this interview is from June 9, it still seems that Mickey has not even heard of Zenyatta."
If you forward to the 12minutes mark, Mickey makes mention of the buzz over the last year about lump/vein graphite in Northern Ontario and Quebec. While he doesn't make mention of specific companies, it is obvious that Fulp is referring to ZEN and CCB. Both Ontario/Quebec junior miners developing lump/vein graphite deposits.
So while Fulp is aware of ZEN, what Fulp does not grasp is the markets ZEN is trying to target with their graphite.
Fulp is correct in his assesment of the various segments of the graphite market (synthetic, natural, carbon fibre) and how much of the estimated $13B each shares (with synthetic holding by far the biggest portion). He also makes mention of the hype surrounging Tesla/Electric car battery demand, however, he states that these items are irrelevant to graphite miners as EV batteries require synthetic batteries....duh, ZEN has been stating for over a year that they are planning to target the synthetic battery market.
Somebody hand Mr. Fulp a ZEN company brochure, as every presentation I have seen for the past year+ has stated that:
"Zenyatta will be targeting the $13 billion dollar synthetic graphite market"
"Zenyatta will be targeting the high purity- high value portion of the $14 Billion Graphite market"
Simple oversight or a good ol' intentional-unintentional bash?Who knows, all i know is that if Mickey is going to come out and dump on a company he should have an idea of what they have and what their plan is.
