Maybe Cliffs is exercising it power to create a short squeeze.
Step 1 - Start selling on a daily basis and telegraph even though your not really an insider
Step 2 - Create uncertainty and a sell offf
Step 3 - Spawn a massive short
Step 4 - Stop selling
Step 5 - Wait for the shorts to get squeezed
Step 6 - Make piles of money on a rapidly excelating share price

Maybe they are not so dumb after all...LOL
