It seems to me that people are only talking about the upstart car makers like Tesla and potentially Apple. Wait until the big boys decide to protect their lunch. Ford, GM, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota etc etc are all interested as are most major car manufacturers in electric vehicles. Securing raw materials like graphite may just hit like a hammer as it becomes clear that there will be supply issues once everyone is in the game. Most big car makers have 10s of billions on their balance sheets and could easily take out a company like ZEN for a couple of billion. Since it seems technology is not in short supply but some of the raw materials such as graphite may be, why wouldn't one of them consider it. Getting mining expertize on board would be easy as all the big miners need new avenues to generate revenue and profit.
