Great Catch Jimmer!
Several things are apparent from a first read of the slides.
#4 says from a User's perspective, Supplier Reliability and Consistency and Prior Experience is important.
#17 refers to Market Factors and mentions Existing Supply Relationships as one factor.
#21 states that Zen has Core market Development team in Place and Building Relationships with Many Global Customers.
#22 Closing Thoughts, states "While Processes to Incorporate Graphite Into End-Use Product may play a Role in Raw Material Selection, the Functionality Required & Properties of the Material Selected must match. OTHER FACTORS DO PLAY A ROLE IN SELECTIONS."
I'll say they do! Trust seems to play a big role in the marketing of Graphite and personal relationships are key in getting and keeping customers. Well done AE! What a team he has put together.
Interesting points made about Electric Arc furnace electrodes (EAF), I'm suprised at the number of slides devoted to them. Seems like we may yet be in that business, anyone know if Needle Coke is a higher price than NG? lol
Vanadium Redox gets a passing mention so I'm not holding my breath on that as a market (just yet) but surprisingly Nuclear and Lubricant powders seem to get a lot of attention. It seems we have some opportunities there.
But wherever our other 70% gets sold it certainly appears as though we have the team to do it!
