Hydrothermal Graphite Deposit Ammenable for Commercial Graphene Applications
Some may not know that the term 'Easter eggs' is used to describe hints or clues. For example, at Disney World, there are a thousand or so 'hidden' mickey mouse images all over the park. One example may be in the wallpaper of one particular hotel room. People search for these 'eggs' and try and find them all.
In the gaming world, the developers may leave eggs in various spots. For example, you may be in a first person shooting game, enter a room and there is a picture on the wall. You are playing so you don't notice it but it could be the actual face of one of the developers.
Relevance to us - may be something may be not. Since we have a long weekend, here is a little Confidentiality Agreement story. I have been under 5 such agreements in the last 10 years with 4 of them ending in completed deals. As Contoller/CFO of organizations, i am always in the know so to speak. The biggest one I was under was when the Compnay I worked for was getting purchased by another larger firm. The deal actually started with them approaching us to buy a particualr product they liked (sound familair?). The more the looked at the product and us the more they realized it was smarter to buy the whole Company. Offer was made with loads of conditions with a 4 month window to work things out.
So for 4 months I was under the 'cone of silence' (some may get the Get Smart reference) ans it is really difficult to operate under this becuase one slip of the tongue, one paper left on the desk or in the photocopier can lead to information leaking. But every so often and opportunity would arise that I could make a comment that was an 'Easter Egg". The comment on it's own was nothing but when combined with other comments the story could have been figured out. Once the deal was done, staff would come to me and say 'so when you said XXX a few weeks back it all makes sense now'.
To be honest it was a lot of fun to do that because it was the only way to release tension of the situation.
I think AE and Company have left a lot of eggs around like a photo opp with a Tesla which may not mean a deal with Tesla but that the graphite was in play for the high end battery market. Like I said, it is only at the end when we will be able to work backwards and piece it all together.
