Although the Albany mine is going to be an open pit mine during the first 10-20 years ,the carbon emission may not be as big as other open pit mines due to the unique dual pit design of the project.They may be able to put a dome on each of the pit to contain dust and ash falls.There are various ways to do it right so let,s wait and see before we jump to the conclusion.No matter what happens,it,s still going to be a very low cost=high profit mine.
