Funny enough, a friend of mine works on Chestnut St. and they are very, very, heavily looking into graphene now and have been for quite a few years. 

But more so now because the graphite companies are starting to get to work, are more active and almost getting ready to set up shop, so to speak.  Interesting times ahead.
