FINRA has stated to ZCC-C that a couple of trades were made and that spurred them to assign a symbol. Assuming what you posted about OTC rules, it doen't seem that the company (whether ZCC-C or other) has to request the market maker to do it. Maybe those involved in the trade were able to convince a market maker to do it.

I agree but have had no luck there also. I talked yesterday to a person at Computershare that they forwarded me to for Zenith Capital Corp. I was explaining the situation to him with no response. I finally stopped and asked if he was still there. He then talked but all he said was, "so you want to know the staus of your shares?" I said what I really wanted to know was whose shares were being traded under the symbol ZHCLF. Are they ZCC-C, ZCC-V or someone else. All I got was he hung up. He said nothing. Every time I talk to someone with any power to shed some light on this, they won't talk.
