If it was valued at zero, it suggests no one ever got around to valuing it.  Why now?  Perhaps in response to another customer's enquiry.  If my brokerage valued it at zero, I'd keep on them until they fixed it.  If you check the daily value and it changes, it may be ZHCLF (OTC) converted to Canadian dollars (75¢ CAD looks in the ballpark).  If it doesn't change, it's likely just their attempt to value it.  One brokerage has had it at $1.00 US for a while now.
