Hummmmm,,,,I think epigenetic research is losing its place in the science world. There are a few more interesting science avenues which could hold greater results in the health field than epigenetics. It could be speculated that this is the main reason limited interest from the deep pockets we have aligned with and those who are hands off remain at arms length from epigenetics. Seems to me its the only sound reason to assume. If we were actually 8 years or so ahead and on the right path I would think we would have "cornered the market in epigenetics" so to speak by now. But that is absolutely a pipe dream at the moment in time. Just an unbiased view based on what I have read and which we are witnessing in real time here!
