The glossary defines a collaborator as follows:

• An organization other than the sponsor that provides support for a clinical study. This support may include activities related to funding, design, implementation, data analysis, or reporting.

I guess Zenith doesn't have a say in funding, design, implementation, data analysis, or reporting of the study. Which may be a good, neutral, or bad thing (use your own judgment).
