Zone Resources Inc. Appoints New Directors

Evaluating and Acquiring Oil, Natural gas, and Mineral Properties for Exploration and Development, including several Iron Ore Properties in the Labrador Trough
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 16, 2012) - Zone Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ZNR)(FRANKFURT:7ZR) (Zone) reports that the company has appointed Dr. Colin Bowdidge and Mr. Francois Labelle to the board of directors.
Dr. Colin Bowdidge has a degree in geology and mineralogy from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Edinburgh. He has over 35 years of practical experience in mineral exploration, discovery and mine development. Based in Canada, he has also handled projects in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the United States. He has initiated, managed and executed mineral exploration programs for gold, uranium, base metals, ferrous metals and industrial minerals including graphite, wollastonite, calcite, muscovite, tremolite, garnet and kyanite.
Mr. François Labelle completed an honours degree in Law from Carleton University in 2008. Since then, he has been involved in the public and private sector in Vancouver working with several publicly traded companies.
Zone also reports that Mr. Peter Dickie has resigned as a director of the Company. The Company would like to thank Mr. Dickie for all his contributions to date.
