Spoke with my contact today and have some promising news for you all. Apparently Johnson Controls is builiding a new factory in Michigan state that will provide Azure with all of their lithium batteries at a fraction of the cost to what they pay now. They should save approx. $6000 a battery. (Now do the math, if Ford buys approx 4,000 units by 2011 from Azure, they should save close to $24 million next year on battery costs alone.) Some good news looking forward.
