Brigadier Gold (TSX-V: BRG) Adds Simon Baker to Board of Directors
Toronto, December 19, 2008 - Brigadier Gold Limited (“Brigadier” or “the Company”) (TSX-V: BRG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon L. Baker, MMS, P.Geo, as an additional Director of the Company. An economic geologist specializing in precious metals and industrial minerals, Mr. Baker brings over 20 years of senior management expertise in the minerals sector to Brigadier.

In addition to 10 years as a Director and Vice-President, Corporate Development with Platinex Inc. and senior management roles with industrial minerals company RMC Group, Mr. Baker has developed a successful management consulting business, Telacorp Inc., through which he has helped to build effective production teams for firms in the nickel, diamond, industrial minerals and mineral processing sectors. Mr. Baker has also lectured at a number of institutions, including the University of Western Ontario, McMaster University and the University of Toronto’s Lassonde Program on topics ranging from business performance and productivity to exploration economics.
