May be this CEO is waiting for a higher share price to materialize before he pulls the plug and makes way for the next level of management. All this talk of getting rid of him may make him want to stay longer than he should.

Hopefully the powers that be are doing the best for all concerned. No one likes to be given the boot, so lets hope for a smooth transition as the share price moves up.
