Fuel Efficient and Clean Emissions
Just got back home an hour ago. Myself and Qmark made the trip, nice easy traffic flow so we made good time.
We met with Tom in the boardroom for over 2 1/2 hours, although there were frequent interruptions. We also met briefly with John Hultink from the business advisory board. If any genuine info were to be had it would have probably been from John as he was gushing, almost exploding with excitement. But he was ushered out to stop him from spilling the beans, whatever beans they may have been. The general tone regarding answers to questions was the usual, and expected, "can't say anything about that". Tom is very weary of saying things that might contravene TSX and OSC regulations, rightfully so. I won't bore you with what he wouldn't commit an answer to, but where he did indicate something I'll note below, question then answer. The questions are cut'n'paste from the original posts where applicable.
Q. Can we have some photos of Equity trucks with Jetstars fitted, along with their new livery.
A. I'll try and get some.
Q. Are they planning on taking the dealership program international any time soon? or are they just going to focus on North America for now? If they do plan to go international,{Europe,South America,Asia, etc.}, then when is this going to take place?
A. NA first, huge market.
Q. Possibly releasing some financial information as quick as possible. I realize its the .10 warrants that are dragging this down now and that people are again going to cash in but what about stabilizing the stock with some details in a financial release
A. No commitment was made by Tom but I forgot that at the AGM it was voted to appoint a new auditing company so it looks like not Jan, not Feb, maybe, just maybe, from what I inferred, March.
Q. Where's Jerry Solensky Jr.
A. Michigan, just boarding a plane. He called whilst we were there.
Q. When are we back to Tier 1.
A.Something about $5M dollars was mentioned, Qmark did you take note of this?
Q. When do we get more news on the SMG to HFS change, and will there be a new website?
A. Watch the dealer listing on the dynamicfuels.com site.
Q. that a casual reader of the company's press release would think that 75 units is very small potatoes whereas if we gave the approx. $ value of these units say $800,000 they would be more impressed?
A. He's taking 'advisement' on this point
Q. Ask about media exposure, how is this being done and who's in charge of this? What media outlets are being used? (electronic, paper, etc)
A. Tom takes charge of this, and it goes out by 'newswire'. The agencies that choose to pick up on it report, he can't make them do so. As we left he did crack a joke about Tim Horton's.
Q. Ask about a market maker, do they have one?
A. 3 or 4 apparently.
That's about it unless Qmark has something he wishes to add. We then toured the factory, I have photos from areas I was allowed to take pics. I'll upload them soon.We saw 25 Jetstars being QCed and QAed as they went through assembly. We saw the packing area, a bunch of Jetstars in cartons ready to ship. We saw the inventory and WIP holding areas, lots of parts on hand. We saw the sub-assembly area and R&D area. There are 6 new employees, 10 more starting in March. It's a very clean facility with lots of activity.
All in all I was very impressed. I personally came out with a good feeling. Tom is committed to keep his promise about improving communication with shareholders, as per his address on the website. I get the impression that many more good things are to come, but that may be a bit flowers & lollipops for some as it's just a gut feeling.
