Well lookin4, i take a different view. In my opinion there are 3 definable steps (more on micro-analysis) of the process:
1) You 'contract' an 'organisation' to perform the testing, submit the product and commence
2) Testing complete
3) Results published
I use quote marks to broaden the definition as far as possible so as not to be misinterpreted by those who like to do so.
It doesn't make sense to give the 'competition' a heads-up that testing is under way so 1) probably wouldn't be announced. One could argue that not announcing 2) until 3) is available makes sense too. However, management, be it the 'new' CEO or the outgoing CEO, have decided to let us know that 2) is complete and 3) is due soon. Only when the last stage is complete will we have true data to compare, but remember too that we are looking at an evaluation on Class 8 engines, something our 'competition' didn't. This is the mass-market.
Personally I believe that this is the start of a cascade of good news. In isolation it's not likely to jump the SP up but follow on news such as the actual data, sales as a result, CCM can probably use the data in a technical report etc, etc, should. All good stuff.
Less than 2 weeks to the AGM too.
