The guys over at MobileMag have some information on a new Personal Media Player from Maycom that eschews a large form factor and hard drive for a truly compact design. The Maycom M-Bird XZ-22 PMP looks more like a smartphone than a PMP, but it`s media support and size make it a unique contender in the over-crowded PMP market. At just 3.5 inches long, the XZ-22 is shaped like the Game Boy Micro. Weighing in at a barely noticeable 65 grams, you could very well drop this unit and never notice a weight difference, although the clank of it breaking might unsettle you a bit. More...
