You mean.... they (e.Digital)...As..Actel suppilies hardware soluations.
They supply ASIC and FPGA micocontrollers...
one being application specfic hardwired...the other having an ability to reconfigure application IC ....now flash based instead of SRAM based.
It was an expencive propersition...and RP`s response was approperat....when the FPGA was 249.00 plus subcomponents ie: SRAM...ROM...etc....now ask him with the cost now down to a cup of coffee... that now includes all components...no battery backup...no ROM...no SRAM/w lookup table overhead ....lol...if the price is right.
Actel gets this after our so called relationship...RP was not window shopping for an FPGA platform when they went to ACTEL...they new how expencive it was...that relationship was about something else other than edig looking for a platform....we had prior dealings with Xilinx for some kind of devlopment....Edig knows what these platforms are all about.
