David H. Pohl

Chairman and CEO

David Pohl has served on our board of directors since April 2001, and served as an officer of the Company from January 2001 to March 2002. Except for his service with PTSC, Pohl has been in the private practice of law counseling business clients since 1997, and from 1995 to 1996 was Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General. Previously, he was a senior attorney with a large U.S. law firm, and held positions as a senior officer and general counsel in large financial services corporations. Pohl earned a J.D. degree in 1962 from the Ohio State University College of Law, and also holds a BS in Administrative Sciences from Ohio State.

Thomas Sweeney

CPA and CFO

Since 2000 Thomas Sweeney has been a partner in the San Diego office of Tatum CFO Partners, a national financial services firm that is the largest professional services provider of strategic, financial and information technology leadership in the country. He has served as CFO of New Visual Corporation, a publicly held development stage company in the telecommunications industry with more than 8,000 shareholders. Sweeney was directly responsible for all SEC filings over the three-and-a-half years that he held that position. While with Tatum he also served as CFO of Mitchell International, Inc., a 700-person firm that is a leading provider of information software, print publications and total business solutions.

Sweeney has worked in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa on a project basis for a publicly held U.S. company as it completed acquisitions of satellite technology subsidiaries. In addition, Sweeney has served as CFO for several early stage San Diego companies as they proceeded through formation and initial fund raising activities.

Prior to Tatum, Sweeney`s experience included organization of a startup venture as well as service for six years in senior financial roles for Irvine-based Ventana Companies, an international venture capital company with $230 million directly under management and more than $3 billion placed in 78 portfolio companies. His overall financial responsibility included management of funds, involvement in fund raising and roles in financial and operational matters including SEC reporting, responsibility for audit and tax matters and responsibility for personnel and other administrative matters.

Earlier in his career, Sweeney worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young LLP, where he earned his CPA certificate, and he also worked for the international consulting firm of McKinsey & Company.

Sweeney earned his BBA and MBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the American Institute of CPA`s.

Helmut Falk, Jr.

Director

Helmut Falk, Jr. Since 1992, Dr. Falk has been the Director of Anesthesia for the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. Dr. Falk received his D.O. from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1987 and his B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Irvine in 1983. Dr. Falk is the son of the late Helmut Falk, who was the sole shareholder of nanoTronics and the Chairman and CEO of Patriot until his death in July 1995. Dr. Falk is also an heir to the Helmut Falk Estate, which is the beneficial owner of the Company`s shares held by the Helmut Falk Family Trust.

Gloria Felcyn

Director

Felcyn was appointed a Director and chairman of our audit committee on October 10, 2002. Since 1982 Felcyn has been the principal in her own public accounting firm. Prior to establishing her own firm, Felcyn was employed by Main Hurdman & Cranston from 1969 through 1970 and at Price Waterhouse & Co, in the San Francisco and New York offices from 1970 through 1976. Subsequent to that, Felcyn worked in the field of off shore tax planning with a major Real Estate Syndication Company. Felcyn received a B.S. degree in Business Economics from Trinity University in 1968 and is a member of the American Institute of CPA`s.

Carlton M. Johnson, Jr.

Director

Carlton Johnson was appointed a Director on August 5, 2001. Johnson is in-house legal counsel for Swartz Investments, LLC, a position he has held since June 1996. Johnson has practiced law in Alabama since 1986, Florida since 1988, and Georgia since 1997. He has been a shareholder in the Pensacola, Florida AV rated law firm of Smith, Sauer, DeMaria & Johnson and as President-Elect of the 500 member Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association. He also served on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. Johnson earned a degree in History/Political Science at Auburn University and Juris Doctor at Samford University - Cumberland School of Law.

Jim Turley

Director

Jim Turley is the editor of Silicon Insider, the author of seven books and has been editor of the prestigious industry journal Microprocessor Report, where he was a three-time winner of the Computer Press Award.

He is a frequent speaker at industry events, and is often quoted in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times and the San Jose Mercury News. A former senior executive at a global semiconductor IP corporation, where he was responsible for three high-tech acquisitions and a successful IPO, Turley serves on several technical advisory boards for high-tech companies in the U.S. and Europe, as well as serving on the Advisory Board for Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) and the Microprocessor Report.
