There is a firmware set for a file management system involved for the removable Soundclip flash module. This firmware set(utilizing an operating system) is much different than the run of the mill address translation schemes out there....it might not reference it... however, it`s there....and it involves key issues of up front working memory along with the exclusive two-button ``Fumble Free™ controls.

If you feel the issue is about a broadly interpreted basis for all digital voice recorders that use flash memory...removable or embedded...irregardless of the firmware driving them ...I`ll drink to that...but I don`t think so.
