You know, you are right about the drama about to play out at the WAEA event. I had not really thought about that nasty little tidbit.
IMO, Wencor will be pushing hard to keep eVU out of the show. EDIG needs this show to prove they are still alive and kicking with a great new product -- no matter what the Wencor reps have stated a potential customers. EDIG needs the face time to market their products / programs.
If EDIG can quiet some of the negative whispers, they can show off one very cool product, IMO.
On the other cheek, Wencor will be showing a prototype? a real production sample? Either way, the product they will be showing is not market proven nor is their factory able to tell any success stories. Companies shy away from the unproven as most facilities have rough edges in the beginning.
The legalities of kicking a company out of a trade show are tough since it would then be easy to show monitary damages in a lawsuit. Trade orgainizations know this and they will be very reluctent to do anything other than what is forced upon them by a court.
My guess is the best legal team will win if they are both engaged. If not, WAEA will not want to play even though Wencor is a much larger ``customer.`` The stakes get too high for the whimps that run trade groups (present company excluded, of course).
